Police are investigating after a car crashed into a house in a Glasgow suburb.
Officers were called to the property on Low Borland Way in Eaglesham, East Renfrewshire, at about 13:20 on Friday.
A large police presence was seen on the street on Friday, which was sealed off behind a cordon. The house was protected by temporary fencing on Saturday.
BBC Scotland News understands that Police Scotland is not ruling out links to Operation Portaledge – its investigation into gangland activity across central Scotland.
The crash happened at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac of detached homes.
The brick wall of the property was caved in near the front door, with smoke marks visible to the upper floor.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “There are no reports of any injuries. Officers attended and inquiries are ongoing.”
